First of all, we wanted to send a hearty thank you to those who came to the Tulsa reunion - you made it a tremendous and truly memorable get-together. For those who couldn't make it, we want you to know that your absence was sorely felt.

It was such a shock to see those younger kids all grown up. And the 'older' kids were not so much 'older' any more. They even turned out to be friendly!

Old friendships were rediscovered and new ones were made - many of which will endure for the rest of our lives. Many of us found it quite difficult to leave (shedding more than one tear in the process).

The story-telling (and partying) went on late into the night (actually early into the morning for many). It wouldn't be a surprise if the Hilton were to send out a company-wide warning about those 'JIS people.' Yes, there a story or two that will NOT be published. Some of us are still sore from the laughs (or is it the hangover and/or sleep-deprivation...).

Of course, comparing old photos to present reality was a constant source of amazement. But we won't go into details here... We'll be posting pictures (old and new) on the website as they come in.

One thing that had not changed in all these years was that not a single person had grown up. Most had not yet even learned how to act their age, though a small minority had at least learned to surpass their shoe size by a year or two. You would think after all these years that most would have figured out this 'adult' business but nooo...

And a bit of excitement: That final night, those of us remaining were entertained by a little scare at the hotel: a fire alarm was triggered onthe 6th floor, so we had to take the stairs from 11th floor down, and wait and wonder, until the all-clear. We automatically grabbed yearbooks and the book of addresses/emails, rather than any personal belongings! See where our loyalties are?

And there were some real eye-openers as well. Did you know one of our classmates does not have a navel? It's true, we saw with our own eyes... Who? You'll have to find out for yourself somehow or come to the next reunion to find out.

And speaking of the next reunion: Where, when, who, and how remain to be determined. There's talk of even doing the next one in Australia. Others have mentioned Florida and California. Since we want to make this as successful as possible we need you to hit that [Reply] button and answer the following:
